Condition report: Owing to its historic nature, the work is in fragile condition but shows little damage thus far (some spots, tears, and loss of embellishment as visible in the image). We recommend pasting this work on an archival board to prolong its life and prevent further damage. Contact us for a costing for the same.

Raja Ravi Varma, India's first modern artist, popularised his art by printing images of his paintings and making them available widely. This image is one of his most iconic and popular prints, featuring Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth. The print is embellished via embroidery and patchwork.
