This historical print presents a detailed panoramic, bird's-eye perspective looking southward over the fortified layout of Shahjahanabad (modern-day Old Delhi) just prior to the devastating British Siege of Delhi in 1857.

The print features a detailed numerical key indexing 31 specific sites, including major landmarks like the Yamuna River, Red Fort/Palace, Salimgarh Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, the city’s wall and gates and many more landmarks.
