This panoramic bird's-eye view captures the layout of the walled city of Delhi (Shahjahanabad) and its immediate surroundings just prior to or during the Revolt of 1857.

The print features a detailed numerical key indexing 20 specific sites, including major landmarks like the Yamuna River, Red Fort/Palace, Salimgarh Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, the city’s wall and gates and many more landmarks.
