Ka-Sha (Profile)

Ka-Sha uses clothing as a medium to celebrate hand-crafts. Their work is a celebration of life and all that we see and seek around us.

Drawn to artisanal techniques, new and old, they often translate these in their work. People, stories, journeys and perspectives are at the core of their inspiration. Each piece is crafted in natural fabrics, hand-dyed and crafted with love since 2012 .

Their need to be a label that adapted its waste in a functional system led to Heart To Haat, inspired by the indigenous ideology of reusing, repurposing and reclaiming. Under this project, they up-cycle, recycle and mend clothing and textiles of all shapes and sizes drawing from techniques of craft through innovation.
