Lockdown Chaumasa: The Monsoon Festival 15

Themed “Lockdown Chaumasa”, this online art exhibition attempts to foreground the commonalities of the two experiences of the Lock-down and the Monsoonal Chaumasa (a four month period); both symptomatic of a time of no-travel, minimalism and inner reflection. 

Using the mediums of painting, drawing, photography, video art, film, dance, sculpture, experimental video and interactive art; this project presents specially commissioned work, and new formats, both attempting to contribute to the idea of online experience in the arts today.
