मीर-ऐ-मेज़ (Paperweights)
Stone, Wood
Height: 4.5 inches
>
These products designed by architect Vibhuti Sachdev work with the premise of celebrating beauty in the everyday, in objects of daily use at home. Handcrafted by master craftsmen in Jaipur, the products are the result of a long term engagement with architectural and craft traditions of Jaipur.
>
This ‘Lord of the Tabletop’ is the king of all paperweights. Modelled on a traditional carpet weight – or mir farsh – as once used in Indian royal courts, it has an elegant profile and a satisfying touch to the hand. The weight, made of polished marble, is embellished with metal rings and sits on a non-abrasive octagonal wooden base. The design is available in a variety of colours and with either brass or silver fittings.
(Kindly email us or contact us on whatsapp to check available designs).
>
Colour may vary slightly from the picture and the products may have slight imperfections and variations in pattern, being hand-crafted.
