Jaipur based artist Yunus Khimani works in several mediums, and since the last few years, has added a new medium of I-pad drawings to his oeuvre. Inspired by one of his iconic renditions of the Mubarak Mahal monument (called "Bhadra Niwas" in a more abstract manner), at the City Palace, Jaipur; we requested him to image the same building across seasons, and this is his imagination of the Mubarak Mahal on Prakash Parv, the festival of lights: Diwali. The artist imagines the night as "purple" and fills the palace with light in this work teeming with iridescence.
