Mixing old photographs found in Chor Bazar with photographs of “so-called” found sculptures, Heptanesia is an attempt to look at a certain cityscape and its grammar through the prism of collage and assemblage. Some scenes having actually been meticulously staged, the line between the constructed and the contingent remains unstable, inviting us to question the binary between art and the everyday.
